Byway Plan Approved!  UPDATE 10-21-08 The Religious Freedom Byway Management Plan has been approved by the Charles County Commissioners and the St. Mary’s County Commissioners.  Congratulations to all – this represents a great achievement for two Counties and several state agencies to work together to craft a plan that everyone can agree upon and support.  The final revisions to the plan are available at the web link noted below. The plan was submitted as part of a nomination for National Scenic Byway to the Federal Highway Administration.  FHWA's Scenic Byway Program will be evaluating the nominations this spring.
